Column mapping profile
A saved translation between one supplier's file layout and the fields the audit engine needs.
Every supplier exports a different spreadsheet. Column names differ, headers start on row four, units live in the description, and the same supplier changes the layout without warning.
A mapping profile records, per supplier, which column holds the SKU, description, unit, quantity, unit price and extended amount — plus any unit aliases seen in that file. The second upload from that supplier then takes seconds instead of a morning.
Mapping is the real onboarding risk in invoice auditing. A product that cannot absorb a messy file on the first try never gets a second one.
